Lake O' Pines subdivision consists of approximately 100 separate land owners as can be demonstrated by viewing this Lake O Pines file (click here). This file shows the subdivision layout with all landowners according to Jackson County property tax rolls.
Your Landowner's Corp. works hard at ensuring our community's dam is maintained to state standards. The lake is owned by the Corporation and is a private lake. Corporation members (those whose dues are fully paid and current) are allowed to fish, swim, or place a watercraft in the lake. Members are given a tag/placard when paying their dues. This tag is proof that they are allowed usage of this private lake. Anyone, including members, may be challenged by another member to show their LOPLC tag. Tag colors change at each April meeting.
All residents living on or off the lake but within the Lake O Pines subdivision may become corporation members. Non-residents must be approved access by a majority of the corporate officers. For more details, see the "About Us" page.
Residents are encouraged to report any unlawful act to law enforcement. However, any unlawful act, dispute, or other incident should be documented using the LOPLC INCIDENT REPORT form. Once completed, it should be given to the President or Vice-President. If not available, it should be turned into any officer (see the Contact page).
